In a very even first half, Rosendale came close on two occasions and the teams were even at the interval. However King’s Avenue came out much stronger and had quickly slotted two goals past the ever-reliable Rex. Possession then seemed to pass almost entirely to the opposition and, despite some great shot stopping from Rex, we conceded two more goals. Today the team were led by Arlo, making his last appearance before his transfer to local rivals Dulwich Hamlet: thanks for your hard work and gritty performances over the last year. Well done too to the ubiquitous Katie who played a blinder as ever and to the relaible Alfie at the back who was our Rock of Gibraltar.
