Some year 5 children were lucky enough to meet Beijing 2008 100m finalist Jeanette Kwayke at the Rosendale Playing fields on Tuesday afternoon. Luckily the rain held off long enough for the children to help clean up up the pavilion, clear away weeds and give the doors a fresh coat of paint as part of The Mayor of London’s Capital Clean Up, sponsored by P&G. And who should turn up for the finale, but the Olympic finalist herself, who helped the clean up and challenged all comers to race. Good luck at London 2012 Jeanette and thanks for visiting us.
